c. 1970's King Concert 3B Tenor Slide Trombone 2 x Mouthpieces and Case

Pre-owned, this King trombone shows lots of signs of use and also potentially a repair to the slide receiver.

In the repair, it seems the section with the 6-digit serial number has been replaced. There is still a number in the slide section but this bares no relation to the year of manufacture so the best we can do is date this instrument to the late 70's, going by the hand engraving style of the "3B Concert" on the bell section. The instrument shows lots of signs of use including corrosion to various joins, lots of scratches, chips but no serious dents. The inner stockings show wear to the chrome plating but the instrument still plays well and the slide operates smoothly.

Mouthpieces included are a Vincent Back 12C with sleeve and gold-plated Denis Wick 6BS.

Supplied with a fairly tatty vintage case which we think is not the original but is perfectly functional.

Bell diameter - 8 1/4", Slide bore .500".
