There are two small cosmetic issues which stand out beyond anything else. Firstly, the 3rd fret marker is missing. Secondly, there is a tiny hole to the back of the resonator body. Otherwise, there are some scuffs and small chips to the lacquer, but considering the age of this banjo, it is remarkable at best and plays great.
As with many of these old Weymann banjos, the decorative brass work of the resonator body has had its clamps re-braised to ensure the brass fits securely. The frets have been polished, the fingerboard treated, new strings fitted and the banjo is set up with a low action.
Supplied with the original hard case which does show some wear and tear but operates well.
