09 Fender Dealer Select Shadows 50th Anniversary Stratocaster Collector Outfit

Number 36 of 54 worldwide, this is a rare find and a superb example. In mint, as new condition, this highly collectable guitar has barely been played and is supplied with the original case and all the original case candy. The only point to note, the case shows a few very light marks to the exterior.

Brief history behind this creation - In 1959, Cliff Richard imported what was believed to be the first Stratocaster to the UK, the guitar which became so famous in the hands of Hank Marvin. In 2008, Howard Gillespie of Oasis Musical Instruments collaborated with Fender Custom Shop and after conversation with Bruce Welch the current owner of the guitar, Master builder Greg Fessler was given access to the original '59 Strat and faithfully recreated 54 exact examples of this iconic guitar which were released in 2009. This guitar has been signed by both Bruce Welch and Hank Marvin.
