The guitar is completely original from new. No changes or modifications, it's as it was when it left the Fender factory 31 years ago. Finished in Metallic blue, the finish to the body has aged beautifully and is covered in light lacquer cracks (see pictures). There are two small dings to the front, next to the pickguard, a couple of small chips where the neck plate fits and one small chip to the bottom of the back, other than these minor cosmetic issues, this guitar is superb throughout. The neck, fingerboard, hardware and electrics are perfect.
Included in the sale is the original Tweed case (showing a couple of scuffs to the finish) and all the original case candy - including the original 5-way selector switch, spare bridge springs, case keys, tremolo arm, Instruction Manual, strap + more.
It's all here, and a very rare find in this condition for this highly collectable 1986 Vintage Series, '62 Re-Issue.
Makers of the legendary Stratocaster and Telecaster. Basses include the Precision and Jazz.
